the shed (cypress village)

The Shed at Cypress Village makes for a great date day or night for you and your little ones with sea to sky views and delicious wood-fired pizza. Nestled along Cypress Bowl Road, this pop-up coffee bar + pizza joint has quickly become a favourite post-ski or bike ride on Cypress Mountain. They offer salads, pizza, gourmet coffees and wine and beer – all with unobstructed views of the mountains, ocean, and forest. Check out the menu here. You can enjoy either indoor and outdoor seating options with a heated covered dining area with tables and wine barrels and picnic tables outside with plenty of space for strollers and dogs to hang out.

Next to the Shed, you’ll find a huge lawn/grassy area where baby can crawl, toddle, or nap, a sandpit with beach toys, a bike wash and repair station, local art and more as part of the The Cypress Village Pop Up.

If you have some time and energy, you can walk along the Mountain Path (25m or so from the Pop Up) to the Trestle Bridge; or just take a drive down the road and enjoy free parking at the trail head. This short, easy stroll gives you beautiful views of the Vancouver skyline within trees, rocks and a small waterfall. The Trestle Bridge is a ~30m in and out loop that is carrier or stroller friendly.

We spent a day wake window at Cypress Village but I need to come back to see it lit up at night!
