I recommend Stroller Fitness to all new mamas; the classes are accessible and a great starting point to ease back into fitness. Carey keeps it fun with pop and old school tunes. The ladies also frequent Flourist Bakery afterwards, another baby-friendly favourite.
Carey runs two types of fitness classes that run every day during the week:
Stroller Fitness
An all levels class with strength & cardio intervals, mobility work, and postnatal-specific core work. The class takes place outdoors as much as possible, however there is an indoor option for rainy days.
Indoor/Outdoor Stroller Fitness – Mondays & Wednesdays @ 11am Sign up link*
Baby & Me Bootcamp
Circuit-style class with strength, cardio and core intervals with a focus on postnatal mobility and strengthening. Participants should be ready for advanced levels options; this class is more suited for mamas later in post-partum with older babies.
Baby & Me Bootcamp – Fridays @ 1:30pm Sign up link*
Details for both:
- Participants should be 4+ weeks postpartum and 6+ weeks for caesareans.
- Bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
- Drop-in $16, space permitting.
- You can babywear, keep your LO in their stroller, or lay them on an activity mat.
Reach out to be added to Carey’s Whatsapp group where she sends class details and all the ladies can connect.
