dalina cafe (main st)

Dalina has long been my go-to in Vancouver for a quick coffee or a sit-down brunch with the family. Their extensive menu is full of fresh, healthy, and delicious favourites from breakfast through dinner.

Now, as a mama, I can appreciate the spacious seating and sunny patio with my stroller-bound little guy. They have one high chair per location that you can snag as well.

Menu highlights:

  • Roberto’s Italian Big Sandwiches: standout subs like The Godfather (house-made meatballs, marinara, three-cheese) and the Dalina Dagwood (a stacked combo of provolone, mortadella, salami, prosciutto)
  • Brunch hits:
    • Smashed Avocado Toast
    • Veggie Hash Bowl
    • Smoked Salmon Benny

My favourites:

  • Kale salad—autumn mix of kale, feta, cabbage, buckwheat and apple
  • Americano—they use locally-roasted Pallet Coffee
  • Coconut chia pudding—great for grab and go with their house-made granola

Beyond the café, Dalina also features a thoughtfully curated grocery section stocked with unique local products you won’t find anywhere else. I have gifted friends a make-your-own dinner full of Dalina’s fresh handmade pastas, authentic tomato sauces and local sardines.

Best of all, they have a free app that earns you points with every purchase and gifts you $5 off for signing up so your first coffee is free!
