The cutest little baby boutique worth a trip from Vancouver! Baby Nook is a locally owned dream shop for parents and little ones. It’s filled with aesthetic and high-quality items, with a focus on supporting Canadian and local brands like Jan and Jul, Parade and Loulou Lollipop. They carry everything from soft organic clothing and cozy swaddles to toys, books, and nursery essentials; everything is giftable and feels handpicked with love. The staff is so sweet and knowledgable with great recommendations.
I have two favourite corners of the store: the consignment rack for used/vintage baby clothes and their play area! What makes Baby Nook extra special is the curated space for little ones to play while you shop. There’s something for every baby or toddler: wooden Montessori toys, a train set, pizza oven, kitchen, activity centres and more.

I highly recommend heading down the road to Craft Cafe for some of the best coffee in the world (no, really) and a delicious, really reasonably priced lunch. They have a stroller-friendly patio.
If you need still have some energy to exert, check out the Quayside Playground next door.
📍810 Quayside Dr #101, New Westminster, BC V3M 6B9 Hours: Wed-Mon 10am-6pm, Tues 11am-6pm
Word of warning: Getting there is a bit of a maze. The shop is within New West Quayside’s River Market. There’s parking next door but if you’re coming via transit and/or with a stroller, you need to cross the McInnes St bridge over to quayside from the 2nd floor of the New West skytrain station (right of the elevator) then ride the elevator down to River Market.
